About the Course
Theatre Arts 2 and 3 is an intermediate course that builds upon concepts and skills taught in Theatre Arts 1. Through various modes of expression and performance, exploration of dramatic literature and theatrical styles, and intricate analytical work of scripts and characters, students will strengthen their craftsmanship and artistry.
The course will have specific and heavy emphasis on genre studies as students will have opportunities to engage, study, and perform in a variety of theatre genres including tragedy, comedy, classical drama, contemporary drama. Students will also have the chance to explore the art forms of directing and playwriting.
Some participation in co-curricular activities and performance may be required as an assessment.
