Hello! My name is Lana Vittor and I am so excited to be your ITS President for the year! So far, I have been a part of all 6 mainstages shows in tech and performing. I have also been a part of the critic team, set paint lead, VHSL, and VTF. I’m so excited to meet all of the incoming students and work with everyone to have a successful year in ITS, as well as leading community bonding events!
Hello! My name is Zachary Masefield, and I am excited to be this year's Vice President! This is my senior year, and I have been lucky enough to perform in five SLTA main-stage shows, the VHSL One-Act competition, the VTF One-Act, and other ITS performance events such as A Charlie Brown’s Christmas. This year, I am so excited to see the upcoming freshman class and the amazing returning classes, and to also work on ITS events throughout the year!
Hello! My name is Shea Smith, I am a senior and the 2026-2027 school year secretary. I have had the chance to preform in 3 of the main stage here at South Lakes! I have also performed in VTF along with many other ITS run events over my high school career. I am so excited to work with the amazing board this school year, can’t wait to see what we do! Hi! My name is Jaziah Mays and I am so excited to be apart of the 2026-2027 ITS board! In my time at South Lakes I have been involved in 4 main stage productions, our 2025-2026 One-Act Festival, and co-directed Soundscapes-our VHSL One Act. I'm honored to have such a role in our theatre department, and I can't wait to try new things and make more memories!
Hi! I'm Monarch Courtman, and I'm a senior. I have partipieced in the last four mainstage shows, Radium Girls and Once Upon a Mattress as a costume crew member, and the recent two shows as the Costume Manager! I also worked on the VHSL one-act this year, Soundscapes. I am so so excited to work alongside the current and up and coming students to create brand new memories!
Hello! My name is Anna Fiske and I’m excited to be one of your Tech Coordinators this year! I have been involved in all 4 of the main stage productions since I have been at South Lakes and have had various positions including set crew member, run crew member, stage manager, and co-run crew chief. I’m so excited to continue to work with everyone this year and also get to know the incoming freshman, both techs and actors!
Hello! I’m Alden Walcott, and I’m so excited to be the Lead Cappies Critic this year! I have been a Cappies Critic since my freshman year, and I’m a 5-time Cappies nominee and 4-time Cappies winner (in 2024 and 2025 for Rising Critic, in 2025 for Critic Team, and in 2026 for Returning Critic and nominated for Publicity). This year, I am also the Co-Chair of VTF, and I’m excited to be leading the event after serving as Co-Communications Chair of VTF last year! I was also honored to be a 2-time Brandon Victor Dixon Awards nominee for the Jimmy Awards Student Reporter, and was one of the 2026 Student Reporter national finalists. I also serve on the PBS News Student Reporting Labs Student Advisory Board, where I work with their digital producers to guide their youth editorial strategy and have produced PBS news stories, including on the devising of South Lakes’ play A Monster Calls. I have also produced digital stories on how indigenous youth perceive their connection to their heritage, and this past year I was the first student to publish a story with Virginia Public Media. My work advocating for Native American perspectives has been honored with the 2026 Princeton Prize in Race Relations, inclusion on the PBS News national list of “20 Under 20 Up and Coming Storytellers in 2025,” and Emory University’s Melissa Maxcy Wade Social Justice Award, among others. I am also a member of UCLA’s Center for Scholars and Storytellers’ Youth Media Representation Program, where I am part of a team of students that reviews scripts and provides feedback to film studios and producers on how to best represent teen perspectives on screen. I spend my free time as a member of the improv troupe, the Unruly Theatre Project, and I have performed in two South Lakes mainstage shows. I also act professionally in New York, and you can see me in shows on Netflix, Discovery +, and in the latest Outward Bound PSA!
Hello! My name is Lucy Ishaq and I am excited to be the Showcase Coordinater for ITS this year. This will be my Senior year at South Lakes High School, and I have now performed in all 6 mainstage shows leading up to this year! I have also gotten to perform at VHSL, VTF and the Charlie Brown One-Act, and had wonderful opportunities to grow as a performer in each of them. I am so excited to help the incoming freshman come in and have a great year with this amazing program, while fostering a kind and welcoming community with the rest of the board.
